Nice to see some of your fine work here on RP now.

Thanks for the kudos guys. One of those moments where the planets are all in alignment. As windy as this place is, having that pond as smooth as glass was as much a surprise as the splendid, overall beauty of the scene. Probably one of my best shots ever...

Send this one in to Amtrak for the cover of the 2011 calender! Outstanding snow shot Rick, PCA from me:)

Why did you wait four years to show this gem to us. Outstanding. PCA from me too.

I just Googled "False Summit, Montana" not knowing where it was and found this excellent video of the Builder. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5q2aL_xBnI

This is one of the best Amtrak photos I've seen. The fall colors, the snowy mountain backdrop, the reflection of train and mountains in the pond, and the tree-top in the foreground all contribute to making this a great shot. I'm out of PC's or I'd surely give it one. Favorite Photo for me.

I know it's repetitive, but "spectacular" was my first reaction, too. Just amazing, Rick!

What a picture! Does not get much better than this! I love the name of the mountain, "False Summit". color and framing are perfect. Know you are proud of this one.
