Holy colors! Great shot, Chase. I love your use of wide-angle here to enlarge the loco in the frame and the framing rocks. Keep up the good work!

Chase great job making to colors pop on this photo. I think you are the first person to list the HSC in Logan Pa... it is located in Logan township but its actually still an Altoona address!.. The Curve is located in the Kittanning Gap at the summit of the Allegheny Front about 5 miles from downtown Altoona

So it was just earlier today that I thought to myself "Boy, all the fall color shots I've seen from the east this year have been pretty lame." Then I found this one...nice shot. Best of the bunch so far.

Many of the places I've visited I was inspired to go to. I've seen great videos and photos from Horseshoe Curve in many variations over the years. Although, this one leaves me with an inspiration to go see the curve myself. Remarkable shot and a definite PCA! Its one I won't soon forget, thanks for sharing.

¡Hermosa fotografia! Excellent job Chase Gunnoe. Saludos.

Very nice 'Curve' shot! Out of the thousands of photos of the Horseshoe Curve that I've seen, I don't ever recall seeing this spot from the west side before. Perhaps it's because of the overgrown trees at the Curve that limit the view these days making the scene appear different. Anyhow, this is a terrific Autumn photo!

It's already been said, but I like how you used your ultra-wide angle lens to capture the tree, train, curve, foliage, and perspective. Yes, PCA and the whole nine yards from me as well.

Yes, I agree that you outdid yourself on this beauty, Chase! One of the comments above (Tom M.) mentioned the Allegheny Front. My PA history teacher, the late Dr. Sheep, would have smiled at that because he often mentioned the Allegheny Front, the Portage Railroad, etc. Congratulations on one of the best of the best posts that I've seen.
