Holy colors! Great shot, Chase. I love your use of wide-angle here to enlarge the loco in the frame and the framing rocks. Keep up the good work!
Chase great job making to colors pop on this photo. I think you are the first person to list the HSC in Logan Pa... it is located in Logan township but its actually still an Altoona address!.. The Curve is located in the Kittanning Gap at the summit of the Allegheny Front about 5 miles from downtown Altoona
Now that's a calendar shot if I ever saw one! Jumps right out of the thumbnail. Great framing!
HOLY COW Chase. Well done on this one. You've got my shot from here beat.
Nice color! Too bad it wasn't this way for Railfest!
Very nice! Definitely a calendar shot.
May as well say me too, This shot rocks.
Nice job, Chase.
My my my... one of the best shots of Horseshoe Curve I've ever seen. PCA and a serious "NICE JOB" from me.

Real nice perspective Chase, and the colors really pop.
Definitely one of the better HSC captures. Very nice!

Beautiful colors, excellent vantage point, perfect framing - just great!

That may be the shot of the trip Chase. Great photo.

A truly lovely photo, Chase. Beautiful in every way.
Ditto to all the above, an absolute beauty Chase!
So it was just earlier today that I thought to myself "Boy, all the fall color shots I've seen from the east this year have been pretty lame." Then I found this one...nice shot. Best of the bunch so far.
Great shot! And a PCA from me as well.

Many of the places I've visited I was inspired to go to. I've seen great videos and photos from Horseshoe Curve in many variations over the years. Although, this one leaves me with an inspiration to go see the curve myself. Remarkable shot and a definite PCA! Its one I won't soon forget, thanks for sharing.
Tremendous result, Chase! Color and framing, excellent.
¡Hermosa fotografia! Excellent job Chase Gunnoe. Saludos.
Very nice 'Curve' shot! Out of the thousands of photos of the Horseshoe Curve that I've seen, I don't ever recall seeing this spot from the west side before. Perhaps it's because of the overgrown trees at the Curve that limit the view these days making the scene appear different. Anyhow, this is a terrific Autumn photo!
Excellent photo, Chase!
Great Curve shot and a different perspective than usually shown.
My God, Chase; this is epic! Beautiful color; this really has been one of the most colorful fall seasons I can remember.
Jumps of the screen. Great color. PCA vote.

It's already been said, but I like how you used your ultra-wide angle lens to capture the tree, train, curve, foliage, and perspective. Yes, PCA and the whole nine yards from me as well.
Great color, and nice framing of the train Chase. PCA from me.
Congrats on photo of the week Chase. Great photo.
Awesome colorso!
Very good shot.
I have been to the curve but not at this time of the year. I must get there next year. Thanks for the Great shot
Thanks to everyone who commented, favorited, and voted for my HSC image. The positive feedback is very much appreciated.
Yes, I agree that you outdid yourself on this beauty, Chase! One of the comments above (Tom M.) mentioned the Allegheny Front. My PA history teacher, the late Dr. Sheep, would have smiled at that because he often mentioned the Allegheny Front, the Portage Railroad, etc. Congratulations on one of the best of the best posts that I've seen.
Chase, the only thing I can say to you that has not already been said is....I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!!
Little I can add to everyone else's comments. Great photo. I didn't know there was a good photo spot available on Horseshoe curve anymore! A++++
This has to be the most fantastic photo of Horse Shoe curve I've ever seen! Well done!
