Nice photo! This lady is tribute to her class and to the boys at Altoona who built and repaired her. Her truss bridge style under frame probably saved her when she had her serious accident. The Altoona shops sure could build/fix anything.

I am surprised she isn't sitting on blocks with the Copper Windings stripped out of her Traction Motors. Terrific addition here as Mitch cited above. Oh and a very big Thank You from me as well.

I hope someone is going to post pictures of this locomotive after it has been restored. I know that from what I have read they have no intention of restoring it, but I hope that someone or a group will step in and rebuild it. The history is more interesting for it than most other locomotives.
