If I could say it with any degree of sincerity, I would say that LV 409 is my favorite diesel locomotive, but there's all the CN/VIA FPA4s, the other Valley C420s, B&M's F units in their GM styling group (minuteman) scheme, Arcade & Attica 110, all those New York Central E7s and E8s and finally the true best in my mind: Lehigh Valley's Alco PA1s. But, she sure is fine this 409.
