The state of Washigton spent a lot of money to buy this short line and now they want to abandon it as of 2015 boy thats pretty dumb,all because their to cheap to fix a small bridge that burned down.With all the roads a nd highways the monster trucks tear up you would think they would want to keep as much rail and trains rolling on them ,as this is the breadbasket of the world and the future is here.Imagine how less crowded it would be on the highways if they really used rail like they should,instead we move backwards. By taking this rail corridor away the hopes of someday light rail for freight and passengers will be diminished.
