Sid, it was former C&O 6018 and would have been CSX 335 had it made it to the merger. Nice photo!

This locomotive is actually IORY 61 as you can see from the number boards. It ended up as part of Railserve's (RSSX 61) motley collection of motive power. I worked for Railserve a few years back at the large Cargill plant in Eddyville, IA, and the 61 was one of the locomotives I worked around on a daily basis. It was generally MUed to an old former Illinois Central GP11, now RSSX 8358. The 61 I worked around on a daily basis looked a lot worse than the one depicted here. It is pretty sad how much 20yrs and Railserve's pathetic maintenance can do to a locomotive. The 61 broke down all the time and leaked lots of oil. It was so dirty that I wonder if the last time it was washed was for this photograph. Still, it is nice to see this old workhorse looking a little more in her prime. Thanks for posting!
