Mechanically, they are very similar to an SD-40. I bought an HO scale model of this locomotive (DL-38 actually) from Hobbyco last year when I visited Australia. It has become one of my favorites and is always a nice attention getter when I have visitors to see my layout.

They have a 710 engine - closer to an SD60, minus four cylinders, I would think.
