You know what, this reminds me of something that happened here on the Wilmington and Western back in '08. 58 had had some problem with the throttle. It was a Santa run, so we had to run steam. Well, 98 had her tender off and she was kind of apart. Well, we had 915 at this point, so she pulled the train with 58 right behind her to keep steam heat in the coaches. Meanwhile, back at Marshallton Yard, my dad, Mark Blackwell, and I had to put 98's tender back on, fill it with water, I think fill the boiler with water, coal up, and put anything else that was apart back together. She went out the next day.
