There's the Reading I'd have liked to have known! Love the location and of course, double headed T-1's! Thanks for sharing this choice image!

I took three of these trips and it was everything you said Bob. The Rambles were the first working steam I ever saw and I of course loved them as I saw them. Then when I started to hear the old guys complain about all the yellow paint looking gosh-awful, I felt defensive. Now as an official old guy myself and knowing a lot more of what it was back-in-the-day-that-I-didn't-see-either, I must admit, I can't stand those yellow handrails!

Nice shot Bob. I was on that trip and, about a year ago, posted a scan of a 35 mm slide I took near the same location (http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=292105&nseq=2). I'd like to know how you were able to preserve the color and clarity in your shot.

Was it that long ago? I was still in High School. I didn't see 2124 untill it showed up in Steamtown, Vermont. This series really is fantastic.

Thanks for sharing! I was never able to see a actual Reading T1 in operation as I born too late.. This really shows the history of them greatly.
