The B&O in Springfield might have been the poor sister but what a grand depot they had there, restored today. Nice capture in time Don.

I have been enjoying your pictures from the Springfield, Illinois area from the past. FYI - Springfield is scheduled to get a high speed rail line for Amtrak that runs from Chicago to St. Louis. I am not sure if you are still in this area so you may or may not be aware of that. Again, great pictures.
