Please forgive a question from the other side of the Atlantic, but what is it?

RP.net photographer Dave Shauer has a photo of this Freight car. It is being pulled as a MILW Transfer Train from the BN, and it actually has the Heavy duty equipment lifting something, as it goes round a tight curve.

Hope it was worth the cold! Moves like this really exhibit the workmanship of the construction of the rail system! Well done, Max.

The car is being transferred empty at the moment, to Chicago. The middle sections expands to contain large pieces of equipment. This is the first time in around 4 years that it has been needed.
