That looks almost like new paint! I don't think I've seen an AC4400 that bright in five years. It's a well executed pan, too.

Could that be one of the units used in the Denzel Washington movie? Interesting that they'd repaint it back into the beaver scheme instead of the more basic scheme that's on the ES locos now though...

This is indeed one of the Unstoppable units that have repainted back into the beaver, hence the clean, new paint. As well if you look closely, you can see the plow has the yellow striping. Fantastic shot Jim!

If the plow has yellow stripes on it, it was used in Denzel's movie. However, I don't think this was one of them.
