Why is the line being reopened? I'm not familiar with this part of the world. New business?

I am guessing when you are this far in WV the only reason to Re open a line is due to a New Coal Mine being put in? It is cool to see old lines, such as this, Be re opened, I would like to see a before and after shot when this happens. Nice picture

Aaron, a new loadout is currently in the works of being constructed. The loadout will be located in Sanderson, WV, about 5-7 miles east from the location of the above photo. Unfortunately, when the developments first started surfacing, it seems as if Norfolk Southern in cooperation with the CBC&S were planning to immediately restore the line and begin construction on the new loadout, although under further documentation and almost six months later, nothing has changed, the construction on the loadout has not begun (although a large area that was previously wooded has now been cleared in Sanderson) and obviously, the line has seen no improvements or effort in restoring the near 27 miles of track.
