For not having seen Delaware & Hudson's PAs running on D&H rails, I catch a lot of grief. However, I have seen Lehigh Valley PA units in freight service around Buffalo nearly a half century ago. The Valley's PA units were kept busy mostly in this territory between White Haven and Oak Island.

I count 3 in the locomotive cab and 3 more hanging on the sides of freight cars. Now that is a "fully" crewed train. Great catch of these jacks in freight service and ever better composition using the semaphores in the background, Bob
