Thanks for sharing this interesting image showing how even the mighty PRR borrowed steam power. According to the book Pennsy Power, the PRR men liked the oil fired behemoths.

A couple years later, my father (who seemed to be in a lot of the same places as John) would be a civil engineer in the Pennsylvania RR training program, working these exact lines. Thanks for sharing this great image.
