Nice picture. It looks like all/most of the windows on that pretty red caboose are boarded up. I miss cabooses.

Most cabooses nowadays have the windows plated over for safety and liability reasons.
Here in milwaukee on the old CNW, there are two jobs that use a caboose.
The marsh job and the A&P job.
The marsh uses it's caboose for a shoving platform and actual office because all of it's work is facing point switches.
And it's a 12 hour job. Mostly.
The A&P, on the other hand has a caboose that is plated over.
Mainly because they don't hang out in it all day like the marsh job.
