I wonder if the shoppers visiting Leons understand the history and irony. Leon's celebrated 100 years in business and this round house is nearly that old. I would have liked to have been in it while it was still active as a roundhouse. Nice shot. Thanks for sharing.

Furniture store.. I don't think that's what CP had in mind for their round house! Glad to see it's been preserved, along with a railway heritage center. Hopefully, the heritage center will outgrow the furniture store - but till then, happy to have you on board, Leon!

That photo should have been in the March issue of Trains magazine - all about roundhouses if you haven't read it.

"Hi, I'm looking for a coffee table to go with my 4-8-4." Surreal is right, Neil. Interesting and creative shot.

Excellent photo, so sad its furniture, but atleast it's got a second life.

At least it was recycled instead of demolished. Think of how much time they must have spent to get the soot off the wood!

Very nice! I was lucky to have a brief tour of the place before the renovations. It was a lot darker and more industrial, and my photos show there were less couches.

Depressing, and outrageous to boot. Steamwhistle pays $7.00 ish a sq ft in lease, Leon's pays about $0.90 per sq ft. And between them, left 3 stalls and the tiny machine shop for the museum.
