Ah yes, the true grit of the determined railfan braving the cold, hiking that extra mile, driving hours in hope of catching a train and just the persistance trying to get that ideal shot. This shot reminds me of those hours in the cold waiting and waiting, walking around in circles trying to stay warm and envisioning the shots you hope to be taking as you wait to hear the scanner chatter or the rumble breaking the silence in the air! Sometimes the plan doesn't work out but picking a scenic spot usually provides a lasting memory such as this shot..thanks for sharing.
