Word has it that Espee had a truckload of dirt waiting for when this unit when it returned back to the fleet so it could blend in with the rest.

Very good photo, those may not have been as reliable but I always thought they looked better than GP9s especially when they were as clean as this.

Yes, believe it or not, there was a time when SP power was generally clean. In fact, really dirty power on the SP was a development that came very late to the SP.
