This one brings back memories! Riding MARTA during my last few months in Atlanta, boarding at this station, riding alongside the NS line, created a spark that got me back into trains after being away from railfanning for over a decade.

While college hunting with my family back in 2008, I saw at least four of these cars individually being hauled home from Hornell, NY. They have specialized in rebuilds, repairs of many transit and commuter companies since the 80s. They were being hauled on wide load trailers and followed us from Stow, NY to Erie at a TA stop and then proceeded to follow us further until they reached the PA Turnpike from there we went on to Pittsburgh and I think they followed the route for Cleveland. Seeing loads like this in this part of New York and Pennsylvania is not unusual due to Hornell being about two hours from our home. It is certainly interesting to see something foreign like this come on our highways. I believe these cars are either of Breda or Rohr origin. Good job!
