I love the E&LS, they have sum of the most interesting Motive Power I have seen. From the Baldwins to a few Geeps to their classic Cadillac's, this is Shortline Railroading at its finest. Thanks for sharing Frank.

I'm not familiar with this. Does all this run? Often? Thanks.

Wow, I like this shot. And I'm a steam guy...

The three F7's were part of the Glenn Monhart collection that had been stored at the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay. The Baldwins in this shot seem to be stored, but several more are behind the roundhouse and appear to be in good or operational condition. The lead F7 in this picture is from the Janesville & Southeastern, while the other two are ex-Wisconsin & Calumet. This photo was taken from the fence and the front gate has a railfans keep out sign posted.

The fence you see behind the first loco is keeping a border between a public boat launch and the yard, you can go into the boat launch and get roster shots of all of the power thats in there. If you have a pickup truck like I do, you can set up a ladder or stand on the cab and get a nice shot of the whole round house. Nice shot, its not to often that you see a nice overcast shot from the UP

The "No Trespassing Railfans" sign at the gate is a result of people taking it upon themselves to wander onto the property and some problems with theft of private property, from what I understand. Keep in mind this is an active railroad, not a museum. As mentioned before, you can get shots of the Baldwins from the fence on the right, from the boat launch parking lot, which also has numerous security cameras.
