Maybe the driver is a railfan as well and is more interested in the train than the road ahead.

I like this shot, I'd have preferred a B&M RS3 in Minute Man colors on the point, but it obviously does not take away from the quality of this shot.
The car's driver is trying not to hit our photographer's vehicle. US 5 there is a bit narrow.
