It takes a very steady hand to make a shot work at 1/6 of a second. The results are stunning indeed. 765 looks wonderful, doesn't she?

"Nostalgic zoom pan?" Something of a contradiction of terms, there, Mitch! Nice shot, nonetheless.

Beautiful technique and processing, Mitch! However, I fear your time machine is slightly broken: According to Wikipedia, the first regular-production 35mm lens wasn't introduced until 1959.

David, Louis... following the Wikipedia link, it states the first zoom in regular production was the Kilfitt 36–82 mm/2.8 Zoomar introduced in 1959. Obviously the photographer was testing the prototype!

Mitch, you obviously had a very successful trip to Owosso in September. I have thoroughly enjoyed all your posts from that outing.

Excellent Mitch! Great results from using the technique of "I'm going to stand where everyone else isn't"!

I take a brief hiatus from railpics and I return to find that Mitch is panning trains head on! Very impressive camera work, nice color effects as well!
