As a kid, I had a ride behind CNR #89 at Steamtown in VT not more than a year or two after your shot. Fortunately, she was purchased in the early 70s by the Strasburg Railroad, where she's been kept in tip-top shape and sees regular use on their half hour trains in the summer.
