Very nice, Chris. I really like this spot. Back in the days of passenger service there was a large sign at this location on the lake side of the track that benefitted westbound passengers. Unfortunately the sign "Lake Superior" has long since disappeared.

This sign was in rail innovations video's from the early 90's. I'm sure its in someones backyard! Its to bad one couldn't go further to the left for a better angle of the Lake and shoals but the rock cut drops right off. Still neat that you can get the home board from the siding extension in the photo. Train 112 had CP 9608/CP 9590 (dead) with 81 platforms and 14 racks with CP 9677 on the rear.
