SR 3030 was used to stop a runaway cut of empty hoppers. They weren't going all that fast thankfully!

Two gentlemen placed a tieplate in a switch frog to see if the train would cut it in half. It didnt and the train derailed all over the place.

From the condition of the loco, I'm amazed that anyone survived at all, say nothing about being practically unscathed.

This engine is a total loss.
