What (if any) RR operates this line now?

Today, this is the CSX mainline between Atlanta and Montgomery, AL, where it connects to the old L&N onward to New Orleans, LA. This was the route of the Southern Railway's New York-New Orleans "Crescent Limited" south of Atlanta, because it was shorter than the all-Southern route via Birmingham, AL, which was covered by the all-coach "Southerner." The Atlanta & West Point was operated in concert with the Western Railway of Alabama as one railroad, and the locomotives were commonly pooled, as the second GP40 is WofA 702. A third road affiliated with these two is the Georgia, from Atlanta o Augusta, GA. In HO-gauge, Atlas has made models of these black GP40s for all three roads.
