Cool shot. Do they still use the ventilation system, seems like they would need it just as much for diesels dragging up the hill.

Very unique composition, Brent! I like the juxtaposition of the steam-era relics with the modern equipment (both cars and FRED).

No, the ventilation system isn't in use now though on low pressure and rainy days the exhaust rolls out for ten or fifteen minutes, obliterating the bore from portal to portal. Surprising that they haven't scrapped the whole thing.
