Oh, I don't know, I think 1989 looks pretty good. You have to give credit to the UP, what other class I has done heritage locomotives, or has an active steam program?

Now that 5371 has been retired, 1989 now has the honors. BUT, if 1445 was not patched, then yes, it would be the best.

I kind of disqualify UP 1989 because it's a Rio Grande unit in paint scheme only. It's never riden the rails as a DRGW unit, so it's a show pony. UP 1445, however, is an old pro, a true veteran. And besides, there's no UP patch on the nose, so that automatically puts it far above any other ex-DRGW unit on the roster!!
