I live 2 miles from here. Had you gone a little west you'd find more suburban sprawl overtaking little Elburn. Excellent photo.

Nice shot John. That is one of the reasons I love that location. It gives you the rural Illinois feel while you are standing 100 feet from a major interestion. Love that bright red barn. It was that red 2 years ago when I was there. I wonder if he re-paints it every year.

I shot a lot of CNW trains from there, however there was a grade crossing back than and no sprawl yet. The red barn makes a great backdrop to which I used to capture NKP 765 to name one. Nice shot John.
