The paint on the plow means that it is notched out for the 3rd rail for use on Metro North Territory. Interesting for them to use "Hudson Power" on a train to and from Buffalo.

That plow sure is eye catching to the common eye. The yellow paint along the edges sure grabs attention when seen, which could very well be a good idea to have all plows painted alike. Could be good for Grade Crossing Accident prevention. Great Catch!
