Is she going to be restored or on perminate display?

She has been on display since Steamtown was in Vermont. She will never be restored to running condition most likely.

I got word via the 'Net that most of Steamtown's outdoor collection will be getting a paint job in the Spring of '09. Economic times are tight, though. Let's cross our fingers and hope they are cared for before they are nothing but rust. Hopefully, the missing pieces will be reattached, as well. Nice glint there, Darryl.

Why don't they restore her and get her back on the rails? If the British can build a brand new steam locomotive from scratch, certainly we can restore an already built one!
