Chris, Wonderful "golden glow" shot. The contrast between the dark areas and the reflected light makes the image jump out at you. Thanks for sharing

Its just amazing to me how many excellent railroad photographers are represented in photos found on RPN! Some are historians, some are artists, and some do both types of railroad photography. I suppose the internet has a lot to do with the explosion of the work of so many talented people today. I imagine that before the internet, if your work was not discovered by some publisher or author, or if you did not have the time or money to publish it yourself, your work went unnoticed by the public. I recently noticed the excellent work of Mr. Starnes on RPN, starting with his Alaska series. He is one of the many excellent RPN photographers in my book. I am indicating this photo as one of my favorites, and I consider much of his work to be in the same category.
