Fantastic! I REALLY like this one!. First the big fat, beautiful face of 1225 and then the red caboose with the icing being the guys and the real icing, the snow. Great shot and thanks for posting!

...No ditch lights on the pilot of 1225. Those are push pole sockets. Only thing that is kinda wrong with the equipment is that the marker lamps aren't on the AA caboose. They're on the far end of the PM caboose. At the time we only had one set of markers available. Love the pic - I'm the guy on the right.

Could it be the yellow hand rails on the caboose? Given that there were no federal laws about the white on black locomotives? Lovely picture by the way!

The texture and contract in this image is very unusual. You have a knack for reading highlights, shadows and color saturation. The composition is highly refined as well. I am surprised this is not a screener's choice
