Nice shot! At first glance it looked like a photo taken from inside a cave and the sunlight was brilliantly shining outside, upon closer inspection I can see it's the other way around, you're outside of the tunnel exit in the beautiful blanket of snow.

All I have to say is, your the MAN!!!!! That is an awesome photo. I defiantly put it as one of my Top 10 Photos.

I might have braved the weather for a shot like this 30 years ago, but I guess I've just become too soft in my old age (53). You certainly have my admiration, both for your tenacity and your artistic eye. Great work.

Well done! Love the texture of the snow and how the light bounces off of it. PCA vote from me.

I don't normally view diesel shots, but as I couldn't see one on the thumbnail I took a chance....superb! Original and creative photography at its best, and the shadows in the snow give a wonderful texture. Gets my PCA.

That is very dramatic, just looking at it gives me a chill. That location had to have been very cold that night for sure.

A great shot that proves no matter how many thousands of photos have been captured at that location, there is always a chance for something special. Just looking at this image makes me cold!

A new interpretation of the old saying “there is light at the end of the tunnel”. I hope to see more conceptual images like this one on the Railpictures site in the coming years. Steve Crise
