Sure they could repaint the caboose, but honestly what would be the point? It'd be a nice fresh yellow color for a day or two then someone would end up tagging it. I think in some areas it's just not worth repainting some equipment for that reason.

Can someone explain the purpose of the belt drive on the rear truck? I've seen this before on another cubby but don't know what it's for.
