The PTRA and the HB&T went in on a joint order of the MK1500Ds…units 9601 thru 9624 were PTRA units, 9625 thru 9636(?) went to the HB&T.
When the HB&T was dissolved and divided between the Santa Fe and MoPac, (BNSF and UP) the HB&T motors went to the BNSF.
We, (the PTRA) have purchased the HB&T MK1500Ds from BNSF this year, but they are still in the basic blue and silver.
