This locomotive sat on the property of 84 Lumber Company in Versailles, Ky. for many years with no damage. At some point someone in authority with 84 Lumber Co. noticed it, and asked that it be removed.from their property. It was moved to a location just out side of it's former location, but was no longer protected by fencing and was promptly vandalized. However it was on the rails of R. J. Corman's Central Kentucky Lines. Soon after it was towed to R.J. Corman's Lexington Ky. shops and restored to operating condition, but never found a workable position. The loco was then sold to Knoxville Locomotive Works. Ironically the 1002 was in Versailles, Ky. when the Versailles Branch, (formerly owned by the Southern Railway) was being operated as The Lexington & Ohio by the owners of the Knoxville Locomotive Works. This paint scheme was short lived, and was applied by R.J. Corman during it's restoration and short time as a R.J. Corman engine. This locomotive now works in Knoxville, Tn. as Chattanooga Traction Co. #4.
