Interesting to note the SD40 doesn't have the block "SP" on its nose yet. It's good to see shots of the SP from the '70s; nice work! Thanks for the walk down memory lane.

A fantastic SP display! I was only a few months away from life when this was taken! LOL
The lack of "SP" on the SD40 was how they were all delivered. The rebuilt 7300-series all had the "SP."
