This photo shows just how fine the spokes are in the driving wheels of these large German Pacifics - something I have often marvelled at. Although the loco is immaculate I don't really approve of the siver paint used on what should be bright metal. 01 202 is rather a 'naked lady' having lost her front apron when war damage was repaired. Several retained only the centre section but she may have been unique in losing all her clothes!

@ Brian. Thank for the comment. No, the flanks of the tires and rods etc. are not painted, they are blank, well polished metal.
