Yep, it hit a garbage truck last May. There's a huge gash in its left side.

The explanation from your son makes this the best remarks I've read - I really got a kick out of it. My daughter overheard me reading it to my wife and came running in the room asking "Did it really have a huge bandaid on it?" So true that kids do say the darndest things.
