I totally agree with your remark. Its such an odd looking engine, without the nose it doesnt look that attractive really, in my opinion.

Sure it's a bit of an ugly duckling, but I think it's pretty cool too. I hope someone at CSX realized just how rare these were and donated at least one of them to a museum.
