That brings back some memories Brian, we used to stay in a hotel next to there when we were snapping the 1-4-1 TCs at the Gare Du Nord. And took the metro from thereto the Gare d' Bastile for the 1-4-1 TBs
Never used the first class though... to poor

I used to travel a lot in such Sprague trains. I think I never took pictures of them. First, they were mundane, uninteresting. Then, when they were disapearing, I just did not dedicate time to the remaining ones. There were so much more interesting "big" trains to see elsewhere...

Excellent - I can just remember travelling on cars like these with my parents, about the same time.
