Who owns it?

How sad and forlorn looking...someone needs to put it out of its misery!

The unit is owned by the Leatherstocking Railway Historical Society. They had two parked here until the Henry Ford Museum purchased one for it's museum just recently. Though forlorn in appearance, one must note that it looks better here then in your hand filled with Coca Cola.

Mechanics were working on the other GG1 AMTK 4932 (recently purchased by Henry Ford Museum in Michigan) when I visited the site. They were having problems getting the brakes working (a month behind schedule) and were hard at work. The unit will stay put until the brake problems are corrected. Rail fans would be pleased to know that there are also two EMD FL9s just across the street. Well worth the drive to see some classic locomotives all in a, more or less, natural setting.
