Nice subject material on some perfectly exposed Kodachrome Donald. Thanks for digging this one out.

The Pennsylvania bought the RSD 15s for helper service on both sides of the Allegheny summit out of Altoona westbound and Cresson eastbound. Providence is as opposite from Altoona as it is possible to be on Penn Central. New Haven used multiple S2/S4s here, later on they used SW1200s, often up to four of them. It was quite a show. The RDS15s put on a show too. It was quieter, but oh, their smoke was something.
