Its the first truly environmentally friendly locomotive. It has now achieved zero emmisions of any kind. Of course, it doesn't go anywhere or produce revenue for the company, but at least its pollutant level is low :) Thanks for sharing this interesting view from Juniata.

Nobody noticed the primered frame to the right? Possibly for a new Genset or rebuild of somekind?

Yes, the primered frame was for an SD40-2 based Railpower 3 genset unit being built for NS.
