Just shows that the train itself does need to be the main subject to make a good rail shot,asuperb location and you and the Duke have really done it justice

This is a wonderful picture that has the distinction of a double 'Royal' connection. The 'Royal' Border Bridge and the 'Duke'. The coaching stock is rather more 'colourful' than harmony would dictate, nonetheless you've captured a fine image my PCA vote is yours. I wonder if future generations will find ways to get rid of the abominable catenary that is such a blight on historic structures like this?

Thanks for everyone's comments. The Screener's Choice was a pleasant surprise, considering the sun all but died as 71000 ran onto the viaduct. You should have seen the light on the structure three minutes earlier!
