Of all the shots of "old stuff" we see on this site, the only ones that interest me are the recent ones of "old stuff" that we can still see today. Be it an old locomotive or piece of equipment restored to running condition or rusting away neglected somewhere, old stations and structures, old trestles or right-of-ways all talk to me in ways a bad scan of a long-gone subject cannot.
