Now there's a classic shot! Those images are all gone now. No more C&O, no more caboose, no more engine house at Thurmond. No more work trains to Hawks Nest and even the power to Mt. Hope has changed. The only thing that hasn't changed is the double track main is still there and the depot has been restored. Thanks for the picture!

This picture takes me back. The engineer on the run to Mount Hope was a good friend, I even had a couple of cab rides, you might say that he was the reason for my addiction to trains.
