Nicely captured. Hopefully the bridge, at least what's left, will remain.

An EF1 tornado downed the viaduct, which at the time was under going government funded restoration as the bridge was deemed highly unsafe. I can remember as a younger child riding behind the SY the Knox and Kane had; when the train would go onto the bridge, it would bow up, sometimes up to 12 inches!! What you see here is what had been reinforced and restored before mother nature claimed it. Its now a popular tourist attraction; with a wooden deck above, etc. There is a group on facebook trying to make effort to bring back the Knox & Kane as well. The rest of the equipment would later catch fire to arson and burn. Former K&K GP9 #39 is now down at the George's Creek Railway being restored back to its original WM heritage and will wear circus paint. the SY is now at the Valley Railroad in Connecticut; and was recently brought back into service. Such a shame it couldn't be entirely saved, and even more of a shame this was a seldom photographed [internet wise] railroad.
